Getting Started

Where can I use TooMuchWifi?

TooMuchWifi is available in over 50 communities! Check if we cover your area by visiting our coverage map. If your area isn't listed, you can submit an installation request, and we'll notify you when we expand to your location.

How can I use TooMuchWifi?

You can enjoy TooMuchWifi at home, your business, or at one of our Hotspots. To request an installation at your home or business, simply fill out the request form. For Hotspot access, you can purchase a data voucher.

Which uncapped line is best for me?

  • 5Mbps: Ideal for connecting 2 devices and streaming on 1 device.
  • 10Mbps: Perfect for streaming in HD on up to 2 devices and connecting up to 4 devices.
  • 20Mbps: Best for those who want to stream in 4K, connect more devices, or enjoy a better gaming experience. This is also the fastest option for downloading large files.

Remember, connecting too many devices at once may slow down your speed.

What happens after I submit an installation request?

Once you submit the request, a customer service champion will contact you to confirm coverage in your area and answer any questions. If coverage is available, we’ll ask for payment and schedule your installation.

How long does installation take?

After payment is confirmed, installation takes 7-10 working days.

How many devices can I connect to the same account?

  • 5Mbps: Up to 2 devices
  • 10Mbps: Up to 4 devices
  • 20Mbps: Up to 5 devices

I forgot my password. What should I do?

No worries! You can easily reset your password here. Just enter your phone number, and we'll send reset instructions via WhatsApp.

Do you offer both Wifi installation and Hotspot access?

Yes, we offer prepaid data vouchers for Hotspot access. You can choose from Time-Based or Usage-Based packages, starting at just R5. Check out our vouchers for details.

How can I get TooMuchWifi at my home or business?

Submit a request for installation here. We'll call you within 48 hours to confirm coverage and help you choose the best plan. After payment is made, we’ll install and get you connected.

Are your uncapped lines really unlimited?

Yes! Our uncapped plans provide unlimited data without any speed reduction or limits throughout the month. You can use the internet as much as you like. However, be mindful of how many devices are connected at once, as that can affect your speed.

What does "No FUP" mean?

It means there’s no Fair Usage Policy! With TooMuchWifi, you can use unlimited data without worrying about any slowdowns or restrictions. Just remember, if you're maxing out your 5Mbps, 10Mbps, or 20Mbps line by connecting too many devices, your speed might slow down.

Our Hotspot

What is a TooMuchWifi Hotspot?

A TooMuchWifi Hotspot is a shared public internet access point. You can connect by purchasing a prepaid voucher starting at just R5 a day. Get your voucher here.

Are the vouchers uncapped or unlimited?

Our Hotspot Unlimited Packages give you unlimited data for the duration you choose, such as 7 days. However, because Hotspots are shared, we enforce a Fair Usage Policy to ensure everyone gets a fair share of bandwidth. For a dedicated connection with no data limits, consider our uncapped lines for your home.

Where can I buy vouchers?

You can buy vouchers online here or from resellers like Spaza shops in your community. Want a reseller nearby? Ask your local shop to reach out to us!

Why is my data going so quickly?

This can happen if your devices are downloading updates in the background, especially if they haven’t been connected to WiFi for a while. You can track your Hotspot data usage here. If you need further help, our customer service team is happy to assist.

Which Hotspot voucher should I choose?

  • Daily Voucher: R5 for 24 hours.
  • Weekly Voucher: R30 for 7 days (save R5).
  • Monthly Voucher: R120 for 30 days (save even more!).

For the best experience, consider getting uncapped home WiFi.

The Hotspot isn’t working. What should I do?

Try moving closer to the Hotspot to improve the connection. If you continue to experience issues, log a ticket with our support team here.

I want to sell vouchers. How can I do that?

You can start selling vouchers by using your TooMuchWifi Wallet. Set it up here or contact us for assistance. Shop owners can also use Kazang or Flash terminals to sell vouchers.
