TooMuchWifi’s journey began in 2016 with a simple yet powerful goal: to make internet access affordable and accessible to underserved communities. What started as a local effort in the Western Cape uncovered a much larger challenge—millions of South Africans were paying up to 24% of their income for internet access, compared to the 0.2% paid by wealthier areas. This sparked a mission to bridge the digital divide, and today, we proudly connect over 50 communities across South Africa.
