You must have experience in working for a sales driven global scale company in either a Sales or Sales Delivery Role. You are a proven leader with the sales and operations experience to be able to take on and manage P&L responsibilities. We seek ‘native daughters and sons’ of our communities; for our larger communities this usually means they’ve gotten experience in the corporate world but never lost sight of wanting to strengthen and grow the community they came from.
You have the personality, community relationships and track record to bring excellence to your work and you should be passionate about delivering a world class experience into your community! You must be willing to mesh your own vision, mindfulness, direction, velocity, collaboration and enthusiasm to our existing initiatives and teams.

Be the ultimate competent ambassador as the liaison between Khayelitsha Customers & TooMuchWifi (Sales team & Stakeholders).
Manage Business Relationships and be accountable for Khayelitsha's integration and servicing.
Serve as the accountable leader for community, staff and customer relationships by having the ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable.
Work with management to manage Khayelitsha’s revenue, profit, losses and operational expenses
Embody TooMuchWifi and develop symbiotic community initiatives.
Drive the organization towards expansion with strategic planning
Embody leadership through execution and management of others within the spectrum of our core values and principles
Be a change agent for the Khayelitsha Community and TooMuchWifi.
Establish and Maintain metrics that are linked to your KPIs and targets.
Form key partnerships within the community for business development opportunities and empowerment.
Execute successful promotional events (Blitzes).
Lead through accountability – seek and take responsibility for community successes and failures.
Work with functional leaders on messaging, operations and driving company culture.
Facilitate working together across communities and functional groups instead of separately within them.
Develop strategic plans for optimized productivity.
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
Uphold standards of excellence and soaring quality.
Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill area.
Earmark great candidates to join team TooMuchWifi and assist onboarding them.
Required Traits and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field.
Applicants without a degree that however hold a solid track record of relevant experience may be considered.
Previous performance evaluation experience
Working knowledge of human resources processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership development skills
Database of key relationships within the community that can serve as sales potential.
Maintaining excellent working relationships with functional and technical staff members.
Proven capacity to manage customer (internal and external) expectations across various digital platforms including WhatsApp, Email, Social Media, Phone and most importantly in person.
Desired Traits + Experience
Experience in network marketing and sales management on a large scale.
Problem solver and initiator.
Managed sales teams of more than 10 people
Has and can maintain an effective sales team force with proven sales stats of revenue growth
Effectively use the ERP software to create tickets, capture, update lead progress, use report to translate into Ops meetings
Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals
Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved
Keen interest in technology/understanding the technical aspect of the business.
Telecommunications background would be an advantage.
Willingness to travel, own vehicle would be a great add-on.
